Hampton University offers a Bachelor of Science Aviation Degree for students seeking a career as a professional pilot. The Aviation Department faculty provides a high quality academic curriculum for the private, instrument and commercial pilot ratings, while Rick Aviation and its instructors meet student’s needs for their flight training requirements.
Rick Aviation Flight School is a FAA-approved Part 141 Pilot School. It is conveniently located at Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport. The flight school is a 15 minute drive up I-64 from Hampton University. The university provides transportation to and from the campus for students requiring transportation.
